Are you an outgoing, cheerful, detail oriented person, who likes helping people with a strong administrative background? If you like to stay busy and are an expert multitasker, we may have the job for you. We’re looking for someone who can welcome patients in the office professionally and efficiently while accurately updating their files to check them in and out of their appointments. You’ll need to become familiar with numerous insurance companies and policies to invoice patients’ precisely. At the same time, you’ll be required to balance these tasks and keep up with busy phones, faxes, and emails. We need someone who’s able to prioritize and has a great working memory, as you’ll often be working on a few things at once. We’re looking for a reliable, team player with excellent computer and communication skills to join us on a full time basis 34-40 hours per week. Shifts would fall between Monday – Saturday and could include up to two evenings (until 7:00 pm) a week.
Who we are:
We’re a growing Optometry practice with three doctors who focus on eye health and eye comfort for the whole family (from ages 3-4 months old to forever) including those with diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts. Our routine services ensure healthy eyes and up to date eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions tailored to patient needs. We have extensive collections of eyeglasses, sunglasses and safety glasses available. We also offer emergency eye care for sudden vision changes, infections or foreign body removals, dry eye therapies, myopia control options for children, and vision therapies for concussions/brain injuries/learning disabilities.
Our practice focuses on the latest technologies, treatments and products available in the industry. We focus on team work, education, and advancement by providing several training opportunities and initiatives for employees each year. Employees are also eligible for group health benefits and paid sick benefits after 6 months of employment.
